Students drew volcanoes in sequence using Windows Paint, saving them as bitmaps. Then they brought the images into Windows Movie Maker and added sounds of volcanoes and music clips found online at:

Fish Swimming

We're working on some animations in K-3 at Dike Newell School.
Here is an animation done by a second grade group. I took the pictures this time and they manipulated the scene and decided on the media edits. We discussed the importance of keeping the camera in the same spot each time and only moving the characters or parts that are supposed to be moving.
I'm hoping that some will be able to make their own shortly, depending on the amount of time it takes to take the pictures and put them together.

The last frame where the fish has left the picture is simply a copy of the first picture. We discussed why we didn't have to take another picture at the end. We could just make a copy of the first picture and put the copy at the end.
